Why You NEED to Attend ASTE 2021

Raleigh, NC – The Automotive Service and Technology Expo (ASTE) is shaping up to be the biggest and best installment of the show, ever! Hosted by the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina (IGONC), ASTE is the largest automotive aftermarket event held in the Southeast. Every September, shop owners, technicians, service advisors, aftermarket vendors, and automotive professionals alike come together for this special event. Due to COVID-19, ASTE 2020 was cancelled. However, 2021 is promised by staff to be the largest and most comprehensive in the event’s history. Here are a few highlights for ASTE 2021:

  • Over 30 classes of technical, service advisor, and management training featuring speakers: Jim Morton, Brandon Steckler, Rick White and more.
  • Over 80 vendors participating in the Saturday Tradeshow.
  • Networking opportunities including the Thursday Pre party, Friday Lunch with Carm, Casino Night, Tradeshow, Banquet.
  • Attendee representation from at least 28 different states.

With COVID-19 in the rearview mirror, IGONC Executive Director and ASTE Show Director, Tricia Sauls, feels there is no shortage of support and excitement for this year’s event. “Registration has already surpassed where we have been in previous years. 2021 will be a record year for ASTE in terms of attendance, classes offered, and vendor participation.”

Previous attendees have boasted their enthusiasm for the show. Lucas Underwood, Owner of L&N Performance states, “ASTE is an amazing training and networking event. There’s management and technical training provided by the best instructors in the trade! ASTE 2021 is very much a must attend!”

If you are worried about the price tag for attending this show, fear no more. Shop Passes can be purchased for just $800 which includes admission to all events, including classes, for up to four people. There are individual and single day passes also available. Compared to similar shows, the price tag is another reason why ASTE is a must attend. Sauls says, “Our goal is to provide an affordable show for both our attendees and our vendors. We want shop owners to be able to bring their entire shop staff to ASTE which is what sets us apart from other shows.”
